BLACK completed a Design & Build industrial refurbishment for Menzies Aviation at their Auckland Airport facility, delivering a fitout, warehouse upgrade and associated civil works within a live, highly controlled airport operational environment.
Appointed directly by Menzies Aviation, BLACK engaged the team at Designgroup Stapleton Elliott to provide design expertise.
The project delivers the first airport airside Cargo Terminal Operator's facility in New Zealand, for the world's largest aviation services company. Delivering the fitout, warehouse upgrade and civil scope required close collaboration with the client, airport stakeholders and multiple consultants to design and construct infrastructure supporting specialist vendor installations. Works were carefully staged to maintain safe access, minimise operational disruption, and meet the demands of a highly controlled environment within a tight programme.
