The IHG Queen Street Auckland flagship Club Lounge is a premium members-only space offering exceptional comfort and exclusive services. Delivered on behalf of Precinct, the project demanded a meticulous approach to align with IHG’s brand standards, delivering a high-quality architectural and operational outcome.
The construction was carried out in a live mixed-use building that included both hotel and commercial tenants, presenting significant challenges in terms of noise management, space constraints, and operational continuity. BLACK’s role required balancing these constraints with the need to meet the project’s strict timeline, budget, and quality expectations.
Despite challenges including limited floor space, multiple trades working simultaneously, and adjacent operational facilities such as the IHG gym, the project was delivered on time and to the highest standards. BLACK’s adaptability and commitment to quality ensured a premium result while maintaining safety and sustainability throughout the process.
